Infrastructure Use Case:

Large infrastructure projects such as tunnels, underground transport, bridges, airports and seaports are all good use cases for reliable cloud based Digital Twins. Their size has made them impractical to run on any but the most high performance computers in the past, but now the Digital Twins are being rendered in the cloud and streamed, massive Digital Twins can be delivered to any device that can support a browser.

Digital Twin use cases for infrastructure include animations on the phases of construction, training, simulations of traffic, catastrophic events and even air flow. The Digital Twins can be used during operation when interfaced with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) / (IoT) internet of things systems and data from asset, maintenance and documentation systems accessed from the reliable digital twin.
